Quickstart Part 3: Publish

Finish the series by pushing the site and double-checking sidebar behavior in production.

Prepare for Deploy

• Commit your changes.
• Ensure _config.yml has the correct url and baseurl.

Deploy Options

GitHub Pages

Push to the repository configured for Pages. Enable Actions if you use the default workflow.

Static Host

Run bundle exec jekyll build and upload _site/ to your host.

Post-Deploy Checks

• Confirm the sidebar renders the TOC on every tutorial article.
• Navigate between parts via the archive or homepage list.
• Inspect the section navigator at the bottom of long pages.

Troubleshooting

If the sidebar is empty, check that toc: true is set and your headings start at ##.
